GETTING YOUR EXISTING MLKSHK IMAGES/SHAKES ON MLTSHP
Please be aware that the MLKSHK > MLTSHP transition team is working out the details to make sure that all of your existing images from your various mlkshk shakes (your shake, special shakes, etc) will be seamlessly ported over to your MLTSHP account once you sign up.
So, if you're not planning to sign up for MLTSHP, then it might make sense for you to request a .ZIP of all your images. But, if you ARE going to sign up for the new site, please wait a few days until we can put out an updated announcement with all the details. That way, we don't hammer the mlkshk server with requests. We'll keep you posted as news develops!
After working up this sketch last night http://mlkshk.com/p/1BECF I grabbed a biggish canvas and a yardstick and penciled out guidelines to take a stab at it with oil paint. Spent this afternoon getting this far with cerulean blue; after this spends a week or so drying I'll come back with cadmium orange to fill in the negative space.
My buddy Jesse has been meeting with me on Monday's lately to do art, and is helpfully holding up the canvas here.
Some six years ago, @tonyb told me about this great new place to share pictures, so I set up my account and posted my little original collage, "Allez Cuisine". It never made it into the "Popular" SHK, but I kept sharing and gradually people started to like my stuff. You won't find this going back to my early pages as I deleted a lot of posts in 2012 while in the throws of a depression that had me go dark on social media for a few months. I got over it, but never bothered to repost a lot of those early originals. So here's this one again. I figured it should be here at the end. And, although I'm sure Bobby Flay can do some pretty amazing things with a tough cut of meat, I still think Iggy's gotta be a little stringy.
